Maribeth Vander Weele is the President of the Vander Weele Group, which specializes in monitoring and oversight of federally funded grants. The firm is an integrity monitor for the State of New Jersey and has provided grants monitoring in 23 states. A Certified Inspector General, Maribeth is the former Inspector General of Chicago Public Schools and the Public Building Commission of Chicago. Maribeth has lectured throughout the United States and in Canada for organizations such as the Association of Inspectors General, the World Bank, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, the TIAA-CREF Annual Fraud Conference, the National Business Roundtable, and more. She is the author of two books and has been profiled in multiple publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Teacher Magazine, and in the 1998 book, Extraordinary Women Making a Difference.
