Jack Wild serves as the Director of External Affairs for the Offices of the New York State Inspector General. Based in New York City and Albany, Wild is responsible for overseeing public outreach, intergovernmental affairs, and stakeholder engagement. In this capacity, Wild also manages the development of NYS-OIG's communications strategy, digital media, and creative direction. Since his appointment in 2022, Wild has notably led key initiatives such as launching NYS-OIG social media accounts, reimagining annual reports, and enhancing engagement with the press, law enforcement, and covered agencies.
