Lisa Belk

Associate Director, Business of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

Lisa Belk leads Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Business Directorate overseeing key service organizations, including Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, and the Technical Information Department. These departments, totaling approximately 350 employees, deliver many of the Laboratory’s key business operations, such as creative support, travel and mail services, property management, shipping and receiving, records management, vehicle fleet management, and food services. In addition, her team is responsible for managing all procurements and subcontracts, totaling over $1B annually.

Belk has worked at LLNL for 23 years in a variety of roles and national security programs. She has led operations, software development, and information technology teams in support of laser fusion research, counterterrorism, and classified data security. She has led prime contract streamlining efforts with a focus on enabling mission delivery through simplified and more automated processes. Belk shares her passion for science and technology through her role as a National Ignition Facility tour guide and a Fun with Science presenter.
