Program Description
This course will utilize extensive training material that was developed to form the basis of the Virginia Office of the State Inspector General's performance audits process. Attendees will review the fundamentals of performance auditing, as well as learn best practices for conducting performance audits. This training will give OIG auditors tangible skills that they can apply directly to their work immediately upon completion of the sessions.

Learning Objectives
This two-part course will enable participants to conducted high-quality, value-added performance audits more efficiently, in accordance with standards and consistent with best practices.
CPE Credits
Attendees may be eligible to receive up to 4.0 CPE credits (per session) in Auditing (Governmental). Participants that attend both sessions may be eligible to receive up to 8.0 CPE credits in Auditing (Governmental).
