Western States
The Western States Chapter of the Association of Inspectors General includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Our purpose is to exchange ideas, information, education, and knowledge among oversight professionals from all forms of government in the United States and internationally. We foster and promote public accountability and integrity by providing and sponsoring educational programs, which cover the general areas of prevention, examination, investigation, audit, detection, elimination, and prosecution of fraud, waste, corruption, and abuse through policy research and analysis; standardization of practices, polices, conduct, and ethics; and encouragement of professional development.
Our chapter is led by a 15-member Board of Directors.
