The Office of Inspector General for the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family service seeks an experienced and qualified professional to fulfill the responsibilities of an Executive I, also referred to as an Analyst for the Bureau of Medicaid Integrity (BMI). BMI’s Long Term Care-Asset Discovery Initiative (LTC-ADI) Unit receives referrals on LTC Medical applications. The more complex applications deal with resources with greater value, transfers, trusts and other legal issues. The Analyst completes a thorough review on all resources owned by the applicant and the spouse. The Analyst will obtain verifications and documentation covering all resources, will update the system as needed and will verify unreported resources that are discovered during the investigation. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the LTC policies and procedures, be knowledgeable of the LTC asset transfer policy. The candidate must have the ability to review financial documents pertaining to assets or analysis and provide a written report upon completion. It will be important to be highly organized, demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment in the identification of priorities, work collaboratively with internal and external partners and proactively address issues, and to ensure timely completion of all work. The candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills to achieve set goals while demonstrating independent initiative.
