The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Office of Inspector General (OIG), is seeking an experienced and qualified professional to fulfill the responsibilities of an Audit Coordinator Specialist for the Bureau of Medicaid Integrity. The Audit Coordinator Specialist will be responsible for conducting oversight of Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) audits. Oversight includes tracking status of all RAC activity and documenting in a database, analyze RAC audit findings for triaging RAC matters pursuant to an established protocol, manage and track RAC timelines, create and manage RAC reports, maintain communication with internal and external RAC stakeholders.

Qualified applicants should have strong office experience, Microsoft Excel proficiency, and audit skills to add to our professional team. Additionally, qualified applicants should have strong leadership skills, be able to make effective recommendations for the program, follow policies and procedures, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. The desired applicant must have critical thinking skills to be able to plan, prioritize, and follow up on assignments and/or tasks and ensure timely completion. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies and programs and possess the ability to multitask and work with complex spreadsheets, data reports, while accurately tracking this information. It will be important to be highly organized to succeed in this position.
