The Global Fund

The Global Fund is a partnership designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics. As an international organization, the Global Fund mobilizes and invests more than US$4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in more than 100 countries. In partnership with governments, civil society, technical agencies, the private sector and people affected by the diseases, the Global Fund challenges barriers and embraces innovation.

The Inspector General leads and manages the Office of the Inspector General in its provision of independent and objective assurance over the design, performance quality and effectiveness of controls in place to manage the key risks impacting the Global Fund’s programs and operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong record as a leader of complex and internationally diverse teams and in organizations operating in changing global contexts. The role requires a proven track record in risk management, internal audit, investigations, and governance processes.

The Office of the Inspector General reports directly to the Global Fund Board through the Audit and Finance Committee. The position is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
