On August 14, 2018, Lisa Green was appointed Jacksonville, Florida’s new city inspector general after the City Council approved her four-year appointment. Green takes the position after serving as interim inspector general since June.

The loss of Richard Hale, Deputy Inspector General with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department
We regret to inform you the passing of Richard Hale, Deputy Inspector General with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department on May 9, 2018. DIG Hale was killed in an on-duty motor vehicle accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones during this time.
