Senior Auditor

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (Commission) is a nationally recognized and award-winning organization whose mission is to manage physical growth and plan communities, protect and steward natural, cultural, and historic resources, and provide leisure and recreational experiences. The organization serves citizens within Montgomery and Prince George’s counties and employs over 5,000 full-time and seasonal employees. There is an Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in the Commission. The OIG is charged with the completion of independent audits, evaluations, and administrative investigations. The OIG is seeking a senior auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of professional internal audit and investigative duties. This position is responsible for conducting high-quality work and helping to produce timely reports based on reliable evidence, sound analysis, logical reasoning, and critical thinking.
