Alani M. Mundie, CFE, International Law Enforcement Liaison for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners

Alani Mundie is the international law enforcement liaison for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world’s largest anti-fraud organization. Ms. Mundie graduated with a B.A. in government and minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin.

Prior to joining the ACFE, she served as an aide to Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson in Dallas, Texas. While there, she worked extensively with constituents to resolve various federal issues and aided the Congresswoman’s campaign.

As the law enforcement liaison for the ACFE, Ms. Mundie works with various local, state and federal government agencies in recognizing the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential for hiring and promotional purposes. She also serves as a liaison to the Institute for Fraud Prevention, a research consortium dedicated to multi-disciplinary research, education and prevention of fraud and corruption.

Ms. Mundie is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Affairs at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin. She is also a member of the Austin Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
